Another business idea from my last company, MainSales. BannerKats was a side business we used to sell printed banners online to keep our wide-format printer churning. It generated a bit of buzz, but was eventually shut down as it didn't really turn a profit once you factored in shipping (and other companies were doing it cheaper than we could buy it). The logo itself was based off an audo installation business name Kat Audio that contracted MDI to produce a logo. I created this icon and showed it to them. They went off to discuss amongst themselves and I never saw them again. Not one to waste a decent design, I revamped it for use on Banner Kats. Still not wanting to trash it completely, it has found a home here in my portfolio. Meow.
